"Raiders of the Lost Ark" screening in River View Park breaks attendance records

More than 500 people turned out for the July 7th "Movies & Moonbeams" presentation of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in downtown Shreveport's River View Park. Screened on the banks of the Red River, the film was on overwhelming success. Highlights of the night included a free treasure hunt for children who came in costume, a great selection of food vendors (Hot Dog Man, Marble Slab Creamery, Coca-Cola), and, of course, a successful screening of a popular family film.

Our next event will be Saturday, July 15th, in Bossier City's Mike Woods Park (2200 Dennis Street, near Barksdale Air Force Base), featuring the original "Superman the Movie."
